The Viterion TeleHealth Monitor enables healthcare providers to monitor and evaluate patients via conventional phone lines. TeleHealth provides early detection for deteriorating clinical conditions allowing the physician to be pro-active in patient care rather than reactive.

Acadian Monitoring provides service to AssistedCare Home Health patients with TeleHealth 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Acadian staff is composed of Registered Nurses and Paramedics with clinical and 911 call center experience. The patient receives frequent two-way communication allowing them to be an active participant in their healthcare.

VitalStim Therapy restores the swallowing function to patients with Oropharyngeal Dysphagia caused by stroke or brain injuries.. VitalStim Therapy is performed by passing a small current through specially designed electrodes placed on the neck. The electricity stimulates inactive or atrophied swallowing muscles. The AssistedCare Speech Therapists utilizes Vitalstim Therapy to help re-educate the muscles.
