Autumn Care of Marion is a 125 bed rehab and nursing facility located in the quiet scenic foothills of the Blueridge mountains. Autumn Care of Marion offers a highly trained staff covering nursing, rehab and restorative care. The housekeeping staff takes great pride in keeping the facility immaculate and odor free.

At Autumn Care of Marion, we understand choosing the right facility is a big step. That is why we offer a multi-disciplinary team of professional nurses, therapists and other staff members to meet the individual needs of each resident. Upon admission to the facility, each resident is screened and evaluated by our rehab and nursing professionals. Once a patient's baseline is established, goals will be determined which will include frequency and duration of treatment as well as the anticipated time to achieve objectives. Both nursing and rehab will work diligently to assist patients in reaching their goals.

Also when a patient first arrives in the facility, discharge objectives are discussed with the patient and/or the family. Many of our patients are discharged to home, while others decide they still need assistance and remain in the facility. Either way, we work with training patients, staff and family members in any compensatory techniques or equipment needs including “in home training”. We also communicate with other community agencies to ensure a continuum of care.

Our rehab department consists of highly skilled professionals in the following disciplines (physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy). Once a patient’s objectives are met by our therapy staff, a nursing team trained in restorative therapy continues to work with the patient in order to maintain quality of life and functional ability.
