Autumn Care of Nash is the newest nursing and rehab facility and the only locally owned and operated facility serving Nash County. Our Facility is conveniently located within a thirty mile radius to Wilson Medical, Halifax Regional, Heritage Hospital, Nash General and Life Care Hospital. Nestled in a beautifully landscaped and wooded setting, offering scenic views from residential accommodations, covered porches, patios, and garden areas. Tastefully decorated accommodations include private and semi-private rooms, as well as a two room suite featuring a private bath.

Our 80 bed facility offers skilled and restorative nursing care, short-term rehabilitation, convalescence, and respite care, as well as rest home services. Physicians closely monitor specialized services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy. One of every four residents is discharged home after successfully completing their rehab program.

Garden therapy allows residents to maintain an outdoor flower and vegetable garden by planting, weeding, watering, and picking the crop. This helps keep our residents active and happy as they nurture and care for their garden. With Autumn Care of Nash located in a farming community, it seemed natural for our residents to maintain those skills developed over a life-time.

Recreational therapy is available through worship services, exercise programs, cooking groups, musical programs, pet therapy, and social outings.

Residents and their families are invited to utilize our private dining room for birthdays, family gatherings, or monthly luncheons. The talented dietary staff can cater the event for the occasion.

Autumn Care of Nash is proud to be a teaching site for various programs offered by Nash Community College. Nursing students, certified nursing assistants, and certified occupational therapy assistants complete part of their training at our facility and have been a important addition to the staff, as well as residents.
