Autumn Care of Raeford is a 140-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, centrally located within 20 miles of Fayetteville, Southern Pines, and Laurinburg. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional medical care to our residents, acknowledging and respecting their individual needs and preferences. This is home for our residents, and we feel they deserve the utmost involvement in their care. Our motto at Autumn Care of Raeford is "Dedicated to Service Above Self" and we work diligently to achieve this standard; our residents are our number one priority.

We offer a variety of services to our residents, including physical, occupational, speech, and restorative therapy. In addition to these disciplines, we have On-Sight Eye Care to meet optometry needs and ACT for mental health services. Our activities department organizes events on a daily basis, including outings such as bowling and trips to the movies. Our dietary department prepares meals to please the most discriminating palates, as well as therapeutic diets for those who have special needs. At Autumn Care of Raeford we have a transportation department to schedule and transport residents to physician appointments. One of our most popular activities is the weekly visit by the beautician and barber.

At Autumn Care of Raeford, we are proud to house one of the only secured Alzheimer’s units in this region. “The Pines,” a 34-bed locked unit, opened in 2001. It is specifically designed for residents with either an Alzheimer’s or Dementia diagnosis who are at risk for elopement.

Autumn Care of Raeford is much more than just a “nursing home.” We are a close-knit family that cares about its residents in a special way. As such, we feel that the key to a smooth transition from home to a facility is frequent family involvement. We have a monthly Family Forum for family members to attend. This allows families to get more involved with resident care, as well as to become familiarized with the staff who is caring for their loved one.
