At Evergreens Senior Healthcare System, our nursing care goes beyond traditional services to include such specialties as Specialized Wound Care with Pulse Lavage and Extensive Pain Management. In addition, we have a separate unit called Cypress Place, where specialized staff provide care for residents in collaboration with Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro. The condition of these residents is carefully monitored by our full time geriatric nurse practitioner and dual Medical Directors. We look at our role in the lives of our residents as a unique opportunity to create the highest quality of life possible for each individual.

At Evergreens, our Assisted Living Program is for those residents needing assistance with Activities of Daily Living but still wish to live as independently as possible. At times memory difficulties or a need for supervision may bring about the need for Assisted Living. Our Assisted Living is located within our Long Term Care program, but on a hall on its own. This offers some independence for those who seek it.

As with our Long Term Care our dedicated team of professionals in nursing, medical, Social Work and rehabilitation work together to help each resident adapt to Assisted Living and improve their quality of life.

Our goal at Evergreens is to maximize the potential of every resident through a holistic approach with attention to medical, physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs. We seek the support of families and welcome their participation in all aspects of our residents' lives.
