Our Whiteville, NC office serves Columbus and the surrounding counties of Bladen, Robeson, and Brunswick and provides the following services: CAP-MR/DD Services including Home and Community Supports, Home Support, Supported Employment, Personal Care, Respite Care Individual/Caregiver Training & Education, and Specialized Consultative Services. We also offer Community Support, Early Childhood Intervention, School-Based Behavioral Services, Developmental Therapy, Targeted Case Management, Comprehensive Assessments, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Substance Abuse Counseling. In-Home Aide services are provided through CAP/DA, CAP/C and Medicaid Personal Care Services.

Our mission at HOMECARE Management Corporation is to provide the services necessary for people with disabilities to be as comfortable and independent as possible in their own homes. Our services provide a viable, affordable alternative to institutional living.

Founded in 1993, HOMECARE Management is independently owned and operated. Our programs serve developmentally disabled adults and children. We offer in-home personal care, mental health services, substance abuse counseling, assessment, vocational rehabilitation community support, and employee leasing to human service agencies. We also offer early intervention and in-school behavioral support programs for children with special needs in NC. We assist individuals in reaching their fullest potential and in overcoming challenges that they may face on a daily basis.

HOMECARE Management's services are supervised and conducted by highly motivated, well-trained professional and paraprofessional employees experienced in caring for the needs of those we serve. We also offer clients and their families the reassurance of 24-hour crisis service and a wide range of payment options including Medicaid and state-funded services. We also accept many forms of insurance as well as private payment.

HOMECARE Management has eight offices in North Carolina, providing mental health services, substance abuse counseling, and various other programs for adults and children with special needs. Our services reach out to individuals in the following North Carolina counties: Iredell, Watauga, Columbus, New Hanover, Mecklenburg, Caldwell, Rutherford, Edgecombe, and surrounding counties of Henderson, Polk, Cleveland, Burke, McDowell, Avery, Ashe, Alleghany, Wilkes, Alexander, Catawba, Lincoln, Gaston, Yadkin, Surry, Stokes, Forsyth, Davie, Rowan, Stanly, Cabarrus, Union, Bladen, Robeson, Brunswick, Pender, Greene, Wilson, Nash, and Halifax. The efficiency of these regional offices allow us to provide the wages, training and supervision necessary to recruit and retain workers more highly qualified to serve each individual's needs.

Today HOMECARE Management has more than 500 field staff and 83 administrative staff members helping approximately 900 clients in more than 30 counties live as independently as possible in their homes and communities rather than institutions.

HOMECARE Management is a licensed home care agency that provides personal care services including geriatric care, in-home care for a disabled adult, and home health aides in North Carolina. Personal care is typically for people who are medically stable but due to physical disability or medical condition need assistance with such activities as bathing, toileting, moving about, and keeping track of vital signs. The service also usually involves housekeeping and home management tasks.

HOMECARE’s staff includes In-Home Health Aides, Nursing Assistants, and Registered Nurse supervisors. Care is taken in hiring staff, with checks of references, criminal records, and driving records. HOMECARE has a drug-free workplace policy and provides regular in-service training.

People may pay for the services themselves, or they may be eligible for the services under several programs. These include Medical Personal Care Services (PCS), the Community Alternatives Program for Disabled Adults (CAP-DA), the Community Alternatives Program for Children (CAP-C), private insurance and the Veteran’s Administration.
