Healthcare Options is a non-medical Homecare agency focused on "touching lives one home at a time " in all communities where we serve.
We provide Personal Care Services (PCS) to the elderly and/or disabled. The non-medical services we provide include bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, and periodic errands.
We also offer Private Duty Services which allows clients to customize their personal plan of care. Under our Private Duty Services we provide Live-In Caregivers.
We employ quality personal care attendants who are all insured. Currently we provide services throughout Central and Eastern North Carolina.

HealthCare Options has always been a proactive company, so in 2005 when the state saw there was a need to restructure the Personal Care Services (PCS) Program we welcomed change with open minds.
Intent to embracing the newly restructured program we set as our priority to provide PCS with the highest level of inegrity and accountability possible.
We began utilizing Santrax which is a web based software that allows our employees to clock in from their assigned clients home via telephone.
We have been using this telephony system now for more than a year. Unlike other agencies we always know when our clients are not being seen within 8 (eight) minutes of shift starting via alerts from Santrax.
Telephony allows us to go completely paperless as all visits and task performed with a client are recorded electronically.
Once a client's land line phone has been entered into the system the employee can only call in from that identified numbered any other number will generate an alert.

HealthCare Options knows that whether you are young, elderly, sick, or recovering from a recent hospitalization, the best place to recuperate is in the comfort of your own home. We have the best quality care providers who can assist you in the privacy of your home with all of your personal care needs. Doctors orders not required.

Hourly Personal Attendant Program
If you or someone you care for is in need of services for only a few hours a day, then this program is recommended. This program allows the client and family to customize their own plan of care so that their specific needs are met in a few hours each day during any number of days a week. Doctors orders not required.

Personal Care Services (PCS)
Personal Care Services can be provided at the client's residence. The individual requesting this program must meet certain criteria and a doctor's order is required. Individual must have Medicaid Insurance.
Services include assistance with:

* Assistance with Walking
* Toileting
* Light Housekeeping
* Medication Reminders
Rise & Shine, Tuck 'N' Tight
This is a great way to start and end your day with assistance. Our Quality Providers can assist you in just a few hours with your morning and bed time rituals.
