Your nurse can tell you which supplies are covered and which you will need to purchase. We do not provide durable medical equipment such as a hospital bed or wheel chair, but will help you make arrangements with a local company if your doctor orders such equipment.

Lifeline Services
Lifeline is a personal response system which connects a patient’s telephone with Lifeline Central. Using a personal help button, the patient can call for help even if he/she is unable to use the telephone. At present, Lifeline is not covered by third party insurance carriers; subscribers pay directly. Community resources may be available to cover the cost of Lifeline.

Hospice Services
Anyone living in Madison County who has been told by a physician that he or she has a limited life expectancy is eligible for the Hospice program. Referrals to Hospice may come from many sources. A patient may be referred by a doctor, friend, family member, pastor, or may call our office. However, the patient’s physician must authorize the services of Hospice. All care is coordinated with, and progress reported to, the physician. Through a team approach, Hospice assists patients to live as comfortable and pain free as possible during the course of their illness.
