True assisted living in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Our community is licensed by the state of North Carolina with a trained 24-hour staff available at the touch of a button in a homelike setting.

Common areas include dens with fireplaces, sunrooms, a library, a beauty salon/barber shop, patios and porches.

Three nutritious meals are prepared daily and served in two dining rooms. Snacks are available at all hours.

Our accommodations have full baths and are available to meet every budget. We offer the resident the opportunity to live as independently as possible or with as much assistance as desired.

At LaurelWoods, residents have the right to live as they want and participate in as many activities as they choose. This independence also means residents may keep their own doctor, physical therapist or any other person who is currently important in caring for them.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture or they may obtain it from the community for a small monthly fee. The common areas are designed and furnished for comfort and safety.

LaurelWoods is licensed and inspected by the North Carolina Division of Facility Services, but in addition, LaurelWoods has its own quality assurance program that is ongoing and assures the resident safety and comfort in an independent lifestyle.
