Muirfield, our Assisted Living Center, offers the much desired independence you have in your own home. Qualified staff are available continuously to assist you with care needs.
Muirfied has two levels, consisting of 14 spacious studio apartments and 26 one-bedroom apartments, of which four apartments are handicapped accessible. All apartments have kitchenettes with refrigerators and microwave ovens. All have individually controlled heat and air-conditioning, cable hook-ups, emergency call system in bath and bedroom and phone jacks. Whirlpool bathing is available. Medications are administered by a licensed nurse. Housekeeping and laundry services are provided weekly. Each floor has its own nurses' station centrally located. Nurses and nursing assistants are available 24 hours a day for assistance with activities of daily living.
A beautiful dining room is available on Muirfied for your enjoyment. Three delicious meals are prepared by our chef daily. You may also choose to eat in our Café or the main dining room located on the lower level of the community building.
A dietician is available to discuss nutritional needs such as special diets. Dining should not be boring. Our chef has wonderful ways to prepare our meals.
Transportation
We provide transportation to all local physicians offices. Weekly trips are made to local grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Target and shopping centers on our luxurious buses.
Activities/Recreation
Daily social, physical, creative, intellectual and spiritual activities are held to meet the individual needs and desires of our residents. Special outings and trips to areas of interest are scheduled monthly.
